Today, I finally got my cello fixed. I've been inspired to learn how to play cello for a while now and the someone gave me a cello for nothing. WHen they gave it to me, it needed a new bridge, and so it sat there for a while but today I finally got it fixed. Now I can finally start learning! I was pretty excited about that today, so I guess you can say this picture, is a pic that put a smile on my face.
Along with that, I guess I have a little saying that I'm going to try and stand by and live by for a while, accountability...I was talking with a friend and this is what she said.
"We are going to be lights to this dark and gloomy world...bringing joy to everyone we speak to and sharing the warmth of a smile with everyone we come in contact with."
Smile.
Bible verse of the day...
"Honor your father and mother, as the Lord your God commanded you. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
Deuteronomy 5:16
Obeying...not just obeying, but obeying God AND ....obeying your parents. For most teens, that's not the "cool" thing to do to obey our parents but as we get older, we grow up and receive it more and more. I know at times it can be hard, but it what has to come. Think about it, it's as easy as being respectful. In another view, obeying our "parents" is also really obeying God. We should do what only brings honor and glory to His name, our father in heaven.
