Past times.....We all have our memories from when we were little or younger. Sports were a huge part of my life, I miss it. I remember going from game to game, driving hours. My dad used to travel with me everywhere. I played softball for my school, for a rec team, for a travel team...I played a lot. I played all year long, and then when I went off to college, I just stopped everything. I miss it. I grew up with mostly boys, so I was always outside, playing some kind of sport with them. I miss it.
And then, we grow, get older, and we find ourselves looking back, at what was, when we were little. Memories are good. It's kind of like looking through the fence or window of what "was" there.
Then comes a part of our life, where we come to a 4 way in our lives. I may be there right now myself. Patience is all we need. Patience and faith to know that God will move us, God will show us, and God will make us into who He wants us to be. And He will do it on His time. God is never late, He's always on time. We just have to trust in Him to pull us through.
"But Moses pleaded with the Lord, "O Lord, I'm not very good with words. I never have been, and I'm not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled." Then the Lord asked Moses, "Who makes a person's mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is is not I, the Lord? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say." But Moses again pleaded, "Lord, please! Send anyone else."
Exodus 4:10-13
We sometimes forget that God has the power to allow us to overcome our weaknesses. If He wants us to do something, He will allow us to do it. It's so easy for us to focus on our weaknesses and push everything else aside, but we need to remember, that with God, anything is possible. Trust Him.
