Day 6: Ground Zero

Ground Zero
Mission Statement: Ground Zero exists to empower the Christian community to reach America's teenagers for Jesus Christ.

There are 33 million teenagers in the US with 11,500 teenagers in Myrtle Beach alone. They are the most unreached generation. Just 4% know God.
Ground Zero was founded in 1998 by Scott Payseur. The ministry began staging evangelistic outreach events for teenagers in northeast Tennessee, steadily extending its influence for several years.
In 2002, Ground Zero reorganized its staff, obtained independent non-profit status and began developing its signature strategy to reach and disciple teenagers for Jesus Christ. Its mission was honed further in 2005 to focus on empowering the Christian community to reach and disciple teenagers for Jesus Christ.
In 2006, Ground Zero launched in Myrtle Beach, SC and has since transferred corporate operations there. To date, the ministry has shared the gospel with over 100,000 teenagers.

Ground Zero is awesome, and it's such a great eye opening experience to see youth kids worship the Lord and love Him the way these kids do. Tonight was yet again, such a great time. The kids are great. I am so thankful for everything God has given me and all the experiences He has allowed me to go through, even the hard stuff. God has really been working in my heart this past like week and a half. I can't read the word enough. I love it. Even with that, God has placed a certain couple of people in my life, and they have really given me a different perspective on life. I've learned that I'm not the only one who struggles, I'm not the only one going through "junk", I'm not alone. Sharing hearts, stories, struggles have really helped me in many ways understand. I am so thankful for that.

"Instruct all the skilled craftsmen whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom. Have them make garments for Aaron that will distinguish him as a priest set apart for my service."
Exodus 28:3

The tailors that made Aaron's garments were given wisdom by God. They used their talents and wisdom from God to complete their task. The Lord has given every single one of us, many gifts and talents. We should be using those to glorify His name. Think about all of the people in the world that God has blessed, it's incredible. Choose to use yours, for Him.
