Someone told me once that...
"A balloon can take you where ever you want to go..."
There's another story behind that, but I won't get into it. I do wish we could just blow up a balloon and it could take you anywhere. The movie "Up" was such a great movie. This picture is a sketch of the husband Carl, in the movie "Up" with a balloon. I saw a picture and thought it was so cool. It was on my mind as I sat there at the table and pondered, and I found myself sketching him out on the back of an envelope I just opened. I love it. Watch the movie if you haven't. It's awesome.
":And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. Deuteronomy 10:12-13
1. Fear God.
2. Live in a way that pleases Him
3. Love Him
4. Serve Him with all your heart and soul
5. Obey His commands
We often mix up God's ways with worldly ways that we get ourselves into. We must focus our eyes on Him, even if we are struggling. God uses everything for the good. Find your perspective, find your focus.
