These past 2 days have been great quiet time for me. I have read A LOT, done my devotions, wrote, and took it all in. My past 3 devotions have been affirmations from Him. My first one was attitude, second one was knowing how special you are, and the last one which was the morning was about hope and hurting. All three of those have been my last 3 days. My reading in the Ragamuffin Gospel has been affirmations as well. I have learned that sometimes we need more compassion for those who are not into the same things we are into. We need more compassion and love for those who are different. That has been something I have been struggling with. The other affirmation has been a conversation I had with one of my professors. He had told me yesterday that "if you want to learn from someone, who can't just listen to them, you have to study and watch them." Then I read last night and here is the EXACT quote from the book. "If you really want to understand a man, don't just listen to what he says, but watch what he does." The photo above just came from a brainstorm of personality traits of mine that some people my not know of. Some are obvious, but I basically have a little journal I keep that I just mentally let loose.
